Some Out of Towners.

My parents and two of my siblings came into town today to see the boys.  It was a nice visit, and the boys were showered with gifts.  Thank you Nana Lin, Papa, Auntie Abby and Uncle Mike for all the awesome stuff.  Michael soaked up as much attention as he possibly could and William enjoyed being held for five straight hours.  Michael really loves his Auntie Abby and Uncle Mike (and their baseball/softball skills).  He's very much looking forward to their next visit!!

Say (Chuck E.) Cheese!!

If I've said it once I've said it 1,053 times... WE ARE READY FOR SPRING!!  This week has been hectic to say the least and the list of reasons why could circle the globe one and a half times.  Enter Gramma!  Who knew that a couple of hours at Chuck E. Cheese is just what the boys and I needed this afternoon.  Michael loved everything about this adventure, especially Chuckles himself.  I thought for sure my son (who is scared of the vacuum) would be terrified of a GIANT mouse.  Nope.  In fact, after meeting Chuck E. Cheese Michael chased him around the place as Chuck E. was mingling with the other tots who were vying for his attention.  William was content with staying three paces away from the mouse at all times.  Funny thing is, all we were trying to do this week is escape mice at our house.  Then we went to a restaurant named after a mouse and my son was infatuated with him.  It was nice to get out and take our mind off of this week.  Dear Groundhog, I'm willing to do anything for you not to see your shadow next week.  Love, Kim

It's A Cold Day in Chicago!

The Bears lost to the Packers tonight in the NFC Championship.  I only saw three positive things during tonight's game.  Here they are...

1.  Michael
(who loves watching football- with George, of course!)

2.  William
(who was happy not knowing what was going on in the game.)

3.  Dennis
(who watched every single play with me and almost screamed as much as I did.)

Hello, I'm Harry Potter!

This kid.  I tell ya.  His new obsession when we go to
Gramma and Boompa's house?  Well, you'll see...

Week Twenty-Two (William Reagan)!!

I'm 22 weeks old!!

I'm Five Months Old (Exclusively From WRB)!!

Oh, my goodness!!  So much to tell you about.  I am not FIVE WHOLE MONTHS OLD!!  Crazy isn't it??  Let me get to what's been going on with me...

  • I am now a rolling pro.  Front to back.  Back to front.  You name it, I can do it.  Now I'm just working on my sitting up.
  • I give kisses now!  Muah!!
  • My favorite food at the moment are peas... just like my Daddy.
  • My big brother and I are working on a secret handshake.  I don't wanna give anything away but there are knucks involved.
  • I wear a size 4 diaper now.  Holy huge!  I know.
  • And... I'm in size 18 month clothing.  Super holy huge! I know.
  • I've really been enjoying playing with all of my new toys that I received for Christmas.  I'm into putting everything into my mouth just to give it a taste test.  Nothing beats my fist as of yet.
  • I have two little itty bitty teeth coming in.  Mommy can see them just under my gum line.  I hope those chompers come in soon.  Michael gets to eat all the good stuff.
  • I smile non-stop.  Smiles McGee is what I go by these days.
  • I started to belly laugh!!  Mommy tickled my belly one afternoon and out popped this ridiculous laugh.  What?  It tickled!
  • I'm still working on my sleeping habits, but I can tell you that they are getting much better.  Last night I slept from 8:30 to 4:45 and then I was up at 7:30 for the day. Not bad.  Not bad at all.
  • My acid reflux has gotten lots better, too.  I eat my bottles now with an ease that just wasn't there before.  It doesn't hurt my belly like it used to.
  • I'm a jumping machine.  I could spend all day in my jumperoo... ALL DAY!
  • My brother and I wake up at the exact same time every morning (just about).  I think it's that special bond we share.  We want to drive Mommy crazy together so the other one doesn't miss anything.
  • I love classical music.  I hear that music runs in my blood.
  • I'm still not a very good napper.  Cat naps are all I need to get me through my day.
  • I've tried all kinds of food as of late.  Pears.  Peaches.  Bananas.  Peas.  Carrots.  Sweet potatoes (really love these, too).  Squash.  And of course, rice cereal.  All good.
  • I recently had croup.  Not a good time.  If I were you, I'd try to avoid catching it.  My throat and chest hurt for days and I had to go on this yucky stuff the big people call medicine.  D-Mats fixed me right up.  What a good guy!
  • Tummy time is my favorite part of the day.  I just roll around on the ground and play with all sorts of things!
  • I discovered the coolest thing the other day... TOES!  I have ten of them to play with and they are always there right when I need 'em.
  • I love watching ceiling fans, my brother bounce around or Mommy in the kitchen.  We have staring contests.  I usually win.
  • I can't believe I'm five months old already.  I must brag for a second.  I've hit a few milestones ahead of my brother, but who's keeping track?
I think that's all I've got at the moment.  Off to bed I go.  My little digits are tired from all this typing.

Diapers and Wipes,

A Different Baby!

Today was strange.  I couldn't quite put my finger on it until just a few seconds ago.  Will's colic/acid reflux is gone?!  Could it be true?!  The boy had zero issues with his bottles this morning and at lunch.  He has taken two what I would call completely normal (longer than 25 minutes) naps and HE ISN'T PUKEY!  But, the best part... I DON'T THINK HE HAS CRIED ALL DAY!!  Wait, did I just jinx myself?  Only time will tell!

Auntie Meg and Uncle Mike Move.

My sister Megan and her husband Mike were on their way to New York today, PERMANENTLY!!  I never imagined it would be my sister Megan moving states away, but she has and how excited I am for her.  Meg and Mike stopped by on their way out east today.  It was a wonderful visit.  William and Michael really enjoyed the attention (and gifts) from Megan and Mike.  I got a little gift, too... the chance to play with their baby yellow lab, Holly.  What a doll!!  Michael took a liking to her, I think only because she doesn't cry like William.  Now, we are asking Daddy every day what the timeline looks like for us to get one of our own.  Trust me, it will be some time before we get a dog, but having her in the house gave me the itch.  And then suddenly, I was snapped back to reality when William's diaper exploded and Michael was crying because he didn't have anymore red Goldfish crackers left in his snack bowl.  Megan and Mike, we will miss you and wish you nothing but the best on your newest adventure!!

And, the only moment I cried during this farewell...

Doesn't that just melt your heart?!

Yummy... Yummy... Yummy!

Thank you God for solid foods.  William has taken a liking to absolutely everything I'm serving him these days.  In return, he is sleeping thru the night.  Again, THANK YOU GOD!  I just love his food faces...

Brought to you by William Reagan Breier.

Will has been rolling over for some time now, but today I actually caught his new favorite hobby on camera.  He is showing off these days.  We are soooo very close to sitting up on our own, and let me tell you that is one event I am very much looking forward to!

We Built This City...

Or at least, Michael did.  Since Mother Nature is keeping us hostage inside of our home during these winter months Michael has really taken a liking to building with his MegaBlocks.  Yes, of course I was proud of my son when he came into the kitchen and pulled me to his creation.  I was, however, more proud of him when he began taking his creation apart and eagerly picked up every single block and placed it back in the block bin.  I almost wept openly.

We are eager for spring to get here to say the least.

NYE *2011*

With having children brings new traditions.  Some we love, some not so much.  I must share with you our New Year's Eve tradition which happens to be one of my favorite all year... NEW YEAR'S AT THE IN-LAWS.  That's right.  I don't believe too many people can say this.  Generally speaking, the majority of our friends start the new year off in some crazy fashion, spending gabillions of dollars and the night being as memorable as last Tuesday.  This is not the case for us.  It began when the first year we had Michael- so last year (seems longer than that for some reason).  We head over to Mike and Jane's mid-afternoon.  We enjoy each other's company (which usually includes my sister-in-laws), an early cocktail or two and spend the few hours before kiddies' bedtime playing and giggling as usual.  Then we get the kiddos down, and all hell breaks loose.  I'm talking loud music, STRIP punch, more drinks than the average adult should consume on any given holiday, our favorite game- musical categories, laughing, and tears all wrapped up into hours of wonderful entertainment.  This year was no different.  In fact, this was one helluva night.  To sum it up, we went to bed at 4 AM.  William woke up and was awake until 5:00.  Michael woke up at 6:15 for the day.  Like I said, one helluva night.  I'm putting it lightly when I say that my New Years day was not so fun.  I took 341 pictures of the evening.  Here are a few of my faves...

Told you it was a good night.
