Halloween Festivities!

Lion?  Check.  Pumpkin?  Check.  Two ridiculously cute boys?  Check.

This year Halloween kind of crept up on me.  We were so busy getting ready for our housewarming party that we had to squeeze pumpkin carving into Sunday morning in the midst of cleaning up from the night before.  Luckily, we were able to get two cute pumpkins carved for the boys.  Michael was not having any of it.  He touched the guts of his pumpkin once and he was over it.  Will slept through most of the day's activities.  Michael experienced trick or treating for the first time and discovered his love for plain M&Ms.  With every new treat that dropped into his bucket he was anxious to get his hands on it to see if it made any noise when he shook it.  We hit a couple of houses in Gramma and Boompa's neighborhood before letting Michael greet trick or treaters at the door.  He loved seeing all the kids in their costumes.  We had to rope him in a few times, he tried getting out the door to join in all the Halloween fun being had on the block.  What a cutie patootie!  William was an angel, snoozing through each doorbell ring.  I can't wait for next year when both boys can go trick or treating and can open their own treats!
